There we will receive information from our guide about the country´s unique geology and how Icelanders harness geothermal energy in an environmentally friendly way. From there we drive towards east and throughout the historical area Rangarvallasysla, the setting of the medieval saga Njalssaga.

We will stop at Hvolsvollur for a while and then drive to Seljalandsfoss, a beautiful, high waterfall we can walk behind. From there we continue the trip to Skogar, where there is another big waterfall, Skogafoss.
Now we drive to Dyrholaey, a promontory reaching out into the ocean, displaying magnificient birdlife. From Dyrholaey we drive to Vik in Myrdal where we can visit a souvenir shop, which specializes in woolen clothes. Now we drive to Kirkjubaejarklaustur and then further east and over the glacier river Skeidara. The highest peak in Iceland, Oraefajokull is there dominating the nature and from there we drive to the glacier lagoon Jokulsarlon.

After ca. one hour stop we return to Reykjavik via the same route. During summer we can arrange boat tour on the lagoon that takes 1 - 2 hours.

6 pax = 27.600 ISK = ca. 180 € per person. 5 pax = 28.900 ISK = ca. 188 € per person.
4 pax = 31.000 ISK = ca. 202 € per person. 3 pax = 33.400 ISK = ca. 218 € per person. Children 0 - 12 = 50% discount.
Refreshments not included. Boat tour on the lagoon not included in the price.
